Mission: Advancing 3D measurement with smart sensor technology
Our award-winning, FactorySmart™ sensors improve the quality and efficiency of factory production by providing fast, accurate, reliable inspection solutions that leverage smart 3D technologies. Unlike contact based measurement or 2D vision, our products remove complexity and dramatically reduce implementation cost.
To learn more about how LMI’s inspection solutions can benefit your business, we invite you to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit us at www.lmi3d.com to explore the possibilities of smart 3D technology.
The spark that set our company in motion in 1978 was the commitment to develop sensor technology to help our customers improve the products they make. When we began, 3D scanning had not yet evolved into an everyday business need. Today, in a marketplace where technology reigns, LMI continues to shape the industry with world-class 3D scanning and inspection solutions.

Thu, May 4: For science fiction geeks and non-geeks alike, “May the 4th” has become an unofficial Star Wars holiday. Except at one Burnaby high-tech company, where it’s an “official” day off. Geoff Hastings reports.
I have been working at LMI Technologies full-time (More than 3 years)
I'm on my 4th year working at LMI and must say that this is one of the best companies I've ever worked for during my 21 years of employment. This is an excellent company that truly values the employees and their contributions. The Executive team does an excellent job keeping the employees updated with the goals and direction of the company, which in turns fosters a team environment unlike any that I've ever experienced. The culture here is extremely desirable and it shows the amount of effort Management has put towards developing it. LMI compensates very well and the company-wide bonus plan is very generous.

Advice to Management
Please keep up the open-door policy. This is so helpful in maintaining the wonderful culture that exists at LMI. It's a breath of fresh air to see Managers that rule without boundaries in an open, continuous improvement orientated environment.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LMI Technologies (Vancouver, BC) in June-2016.
I applied through my campus job portal and received an interview request after two weeks. Although most candidates had in-person interviews, they were flexible and allowed me to conduct a Skype interview, because I could not take time off my current position.
The interview itself took place with senior engineers who would oversee the candidate, if they were to receive the position.
