As a business-to-business (B2B) company, you may have some questions about what we do at LGM. While it’s rare you’ll see our brand on the products you buy, it’s because we work directly with major automotive manufacturers in Canada - under their branded names - providing turnkey, automotive warranty and protection products that are then sold to customers through their local dealerships.
As with any fast-paced, entrepreneurial company, LGM shifts and resets to remain profitable and competitive for our automotive partners. I’m always proud of the innovative ideas that come from employees across every department. This energy is what drives an exciting culture at LGM; our team is the heart of our success and the reason we come to work every day.
Over the last year, LGM has raised the bar in terms of contributions to the automotive marketplace in Canada, in particular, with the work that has gone into building our new proprietary software: the HUB. Our largest and most involved project since inception, the HUB launched in October 2016 as LGM’s core online business tool supporting our dealer partners.
Like most major software development projects built from the ground up, our learnings have been steep at times - but these challenges have also offered opportunities to improve the way we do things. I always appreciate candor through constructive feedback, regardless of the tone or reflection. In fact, I believe that maintaining an open channel for communication is the key to continuous improvement.

We offer a highly competitive compensation package including: comprehensive health benefits plan, Group RRSP, performance bonus, education sponsorship, and four paid days when “giving back” to the community.
Our OEM Rebate Program offers a monthly cash allowance for driving a vehicle with a brand name supported in the company's product line.

I have been working at LGM Financial Services full-time (More than 5 years)
The people are amazing, location and facilities are second to none, work is engaging and broad, culture is rich and super fun, compensation and benefits are well above the mean and a more casual work environment means that overall it's an absolute pleasure to come to work everyday.
Not that it's a true con but you have to hit the ground running and be able to go the distance. This is all relative though and it balances out with the environment and culture... we work hard and play hard at LGM!

More social activities/engagements - this will help to further build those bridges between departments.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LGM Financial Services (Vancouver, BC) in December-2012.
I have applied through a recruiter. First phone interview with project manager. Then in-person interview with project manager and team lead followed by short written interview. Had to design an inventory system.
Next interview was with EVP, who talked about team and company culture. Final interview was with HR.
