    I worked at LEVEL5 Strategy Group full-time (More than 3 years)


    - The culture is unbeatable and is built by the leaders who run it. There are many culture events to ensure that people are engaged in the firm and involved in each other's life. I have friends at every consulting firm and know as a fact that LEVEL5 invests more in its culture and reaps the rewards than the majority of firms in the Toronto area. It really is a family atmosphere that you will always be part of
    - The work is engaging, different and the clients are extremely interesting
    - Opportunity for extraordinary growth as a consultant, a skilled employee and as a person. The diversity in experience from the Partners allows for different learning opportunities and the small size of the firm allows for increased responsibility and opportunities for growth
    - Diversified experience in both delivering upon client projects and running a business. As a consultant you are responsible and involved in interesting activities like recruiting, IP development, writing blogs/ white papers, and marketing the firm
    - Great location downtown and not too much travel, allowing you to have a personal life in the city (rather than calling the Pearson Air Canada lounge your second home)
    - All of these pros are also driven by the boutique nature (and small size) of the firm, which is something that every person should experience in their career
    - Newly renovated office
    - Run in a very open and honest way, which is hard to come by especially with small companies
    - I was at the firm for three years. In that time no consultants left, with my leave being the first. There is a lack of turnover that demonstrates the happiness of staff that I have never seen at another company, much less consulting firm (an industry with notoriously high turnover)


    - Any management consulting firm has long hours, LEVEL5 is the same
    - As the firm grows it needs to better manage the divide between client and corporate responsibilities given the workload of consultants
    - Can be hard to get formalized feedback, although this is currently being addressed

    Advice to Management

    Continue to invest in the culture, this is and will always be the differentiator! Growth from small to mid-sized will bring a lot of change and that needs to be managed actively otherwise it may have negative consequences on employee happiness and workload. Otherwise continue to do the same as it has been a great place to work and an exceptional firm to start one's career

    I applied online. I interviewed at LEVEL5 Strategy Group in March-2015.


    Got contacted by email for a 45-min phone interview.
    The interviewer asked behavioural questions and inquired about my interest in brand strategy and consulting.
    After a few days, I received an email saying that unfortunately, I got disqualified.
    Regardless, the interviewer was very friendly and even offered me feedback.
