I worked at Kingfisher full-time (More than a year)
Really great experience can be gained from working at Kingfisher. There is always something that needs working on so you're not quiet for long.
The projects and ranges are often delayed due to lack of understanding of how the teams all function together which impacts the amount of time left to finish tasks. Because of this often teams can become quite political and unsupportive of the wider teams. Not all but some managers are also looking to advance to the next level and support for their teams is minimal.
Advice to Management
Management need to be more involved in the work of the business and interacting with the customer rather than getting embroiled in office politics
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Kingfisher (Southampton, England (UK)) in May-2016.
Through 3rd party agent interview and in depth discussion about previous experience and aspirations.
First actual interview with lead Portfollio Manager and PMO (2ic).
First part of i/v process was a data analysis scenario and presentation, second part an informal discusion.
