Iversoft is fantastic place to work and i'd recommend them to anyone. Fully support you growing in the company, offers a flexible work schedule and is a dog friendly office.

We work with dogs beside us, I don't see a con in that!

    Non-Technical Interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Iversoft (Ottawa, ON) in August 2017.

The application process includes providing answers to questions pertaining to the specific role - take this process seriously! Not only are they using answers to screen applicants, consider that the questions are giving you clues about what the company deems important.

The process started with a standard phone screening and then an in-person interview with HR and the hiring manager. All was very well organized and professional. The interview largely explored my approach to doing the type of job I was going for.

The next stage involved meeting again with the hiring manager and the two company founders. Again, all very professional, this seemed to be more of a "do we want to work with this person" round. As a small but growing company, culture and fit are important, but I never felt like they are screening for a "type" so much as general affability.

Shortly thereafter I got the offer and accepted. Their promises matched reality all through the interview process and it afterwards now that I'm employed there.

One more thing if you've read this far - find the name of a company dog without calling in. Its right there under your nose when you apply.
