Pros
Intrigue is a great place to work with a great team and awesome clients. If you're looking for a place that encourages growth and learning both in your personal life and at work, this is it. Each week, each member of the team completes 'leader building' which is where you're encouraged to share your learning from the week prior. This has set the team up for consistent growth, and speaking to my own personal experience has taught me a lot about the work that other teams within the company do. The company is super transparent and everyone has each other's backs. They also try to help you do the work that you enjoy and are great at within your job where possible. As for the 'fun' perks, there are regular team events like pub nights and sporting events, a slo-pitch team to join, dogs (and puppies!) in the office, and more!
Cons
Since it's still a relatively small company internally, there isn't a ton of room for upwards growth. Having said that, they work closely with individuals to try to make sure that each person has the tools and steps that they need to still grow in their career and offer opportunities where possible.

Interview
This process took approximately 8 weeks, from applying on-line to being granted an employment contract. Patient is necessary if you want to work at Intrigue Media. Admittedly, their process left me wondering, after phone interviews, and testing. Being offered this role was the best day ever. This company has an amazing culture, offering leadership building, empowerment and team building opportunities. It was definitely worth the wait.InterviewWhat is your involvement in the community?
