I've worked at many start-ups downtown and this company has been one of the best experiences in my entire career working in tech. Somen and Shaun are truly the best leaders I've had the pleasure of working with. I appreciate their transparency throughout my entire time there, especially during the acquisition. When I initially chatted with Somen during my interview he had mentioned that Ideal is a "Mature Start Up" and he was completely right. Every individual on this team is extremely talented, and I was so grateful that I got to be a part of such an amazing team. This company cares about every single individual on their team, and wants everyone to grow and be successful. Leadership made everyone on this team feel valued and heard. Even though it was a small team, everyone was open to collaborating together and I'm so excited for the future of this company and the direction that it's heading.
Cons
Unfortunately with the acquisition, some departments were impacted a bit more with the change management, which is normal when a company gets acquired/integrates.
