Mission: Our mission is to connect people with Meaningful Work ... so that one day the 20% of people who love their jobs will be the 80% and the world will be a different place.
I have been working at Ian Martin Group full-time (More than a year)
The biggest pro is that this company actually walks the walk - things like a self-managed culture, the fact that your whole self is encouraged at work, and the fact that you have the freedom to determine your career path may sound like empty corporate businesspeak, but they truly mean it here. The company has a clear purpose and isn't afraid of experimenting with ways of doing things better.
This con is a pro, depending on how you look at it, but if you like to just come in to work and be told what to do, this is not the place for you.
Advice to Management
Keep listening, learning, and being open to a variety of perspectives and we'll continue to grow together!
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ian Martin Group (Ottawa, ON) in April-2017.
15 minutes over the phone with general questions, then submitted the resume, after that the agency called me back with the date for the second in-person interview as soon as possible, after the second interview, offered the job
A hiring manager scans your resume for 10-15 seconds on average - so make sure your skills and project experience stands out. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQRBL
