Mission: To support dentists and their teams as they deliver the highest quality dental care and experiences to the communities they serve while providing exceptional careers and creating value for our stakeholders.
I have been working at Heartland Dental full-time (More than 5 years)
Heartland is a very supportive environment with potential for professional and personal growth. The company is constantly looking for ways to improve the support of the doctors as well as team and admin and does a good job of sharing this. They strive to help doctors and offices be successful and have re-vamped a lot of the training that is offered to make it local and less expensive. Heartland strives to help each doctor and employee achieve work-life balance and be happy and successful.
There is no such thing as a perfect job or perfect company and Heartland is not perfect, but as a company, they do well owning the shortcomings. Salaries are not as competitive as the company thinks they are. Growth is happening so quickly, it is hard to keep up with growing more support people.
Advice to Management
The leadership training is lacking now for growing leaders this has always been a big part of the Heartland culture and it is missed by all.
I applied online. I interviewed at Heartland Dental (Denver, CO (US)) in November-2017.
Its a 3 step process. A phone interview, then an in-person interview and finally a phone interview with the both dentists and Office Administrator. Each step was very professional and thorough to ensure a cohesive work environment.
