    Senior Product Manager Interview

    Interview

From the bat, the interviewer was disingenuous about the product - it's a leads generator, not a "marketplace" that serves insurance buyers. There is no "product" to speak of - the leads are their product. Recruiter made a backhanded comment about their looking for modesty in a candidate when I suggested that I had some ideas about improving the UX of the interface. Also mentioned for next steps, they will be conducting several additional phone screens, then an 8-hour "virtual on site" - no thanks! I didn't end up following up and they sent a rejection note long after I signed an offer elsewhere. Be sure to check out BBB reviews and their very own website to know what sort of "product" you'll be working with.
