Pros

Unique opportunity to work at company that sells its products to Fortune 500 conglomerates. The skills you can learn at ETI, you will keep for life. I started as a Jr. Account Manager 4 years ago

Cons

Extremely fast paced envrioment. This is not the place for "ill get to it, when I get to it" type of people. If you dont pull your weight, it will be noticed super fast by management and peers.

Advice to Management

Appreciate the little wins. Be more sympathetic towards peoples mental capacities and mental state.

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Empowerment Technologies Inc. (Canada) in Dec 2019

    Interview

    The interview process is pretty standard, you meet with a HR representative and the hiring manager. It started off with the usual "tell me a bit about yourself" and some personality questions. Then it got into some more technical questions relative to the role itself and those came from the hiring manager. Something that occurred that was a bit unusual at first but ended up being a fantastic interaction is when the COO came in to chat for a few minutes. The interview did go for about an hour which seemed long for an initial interview to be completely honest, but it does show they cared about making sure they knew you as well as possible. Overall, if you do well and they like you they will ask you to come back for a second interview and that is where the technical questions continued. The CEO came in to also ask some more high level questions... "why are you leaving your current job? OR what would former employers describe you as?" etc.
