    Application

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Efficio (London, England (UK)) in June-2018.

    Interview

Overall process had the following stages:
Stage 1 - Online submission of CV and Cover letter.

Stage 2 - Upon a successful CV/Cover letter screen, was invited to online testing. The test was a numerical test with questions very similar to GMAT style data sufficiency and problem solving questions. Consisted of 22 questions in 30 minutes, hence was time-pressured.

Stage 3 - Upon passing the numerical test, was invited to a first-round interview at the London office. The interview was circa. 2.5 hours in total. The first 1.5 hours was spent with one consultant and one manager exploring my CV in detail and tackling a market sizing case study, mental maths questions and a vague procurement strategy case. Post this, was set up with a 1 hour long Excel based case study where the SUMIF, SUMIFS, MATCH, INDEX and VLOOKUP were extremely useful tools. There was no need to create pivot tables. The Excel case study was again time-pressured.

Stage 4 - Final stage interview. This was 2 hours in total. The first hour was spent with two consultants having a coffee and informal chat in a nearby coffee shop regarding any questions I had about the company, its operations, its social aspects, etc. Once this was done, the second hour was a 1 hour interview with a manager and a principal with the same format as the previous, however the emphasis is much more on company fit and motivations on applying to Efficio, followed by a small quantitative case study at the end which took no longer than 10 minutes.

Overall, the process was fair throughout, I received feedback upon request, and found the people at the firm to be extremely friendly and diverse.
