Shortage of applicants to kitchen workforce. Currently going through a crackdown on profits could be a downfall when comparing to others instead of competing with ourselves.
Advice to Management
pay a comparable wage to other trades and professions.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Earls Kitchen + Bar (Edmonton, AB) in July-2017.
I applied in person at a non-busy time, was interviewed and hired on the spot. They said they liked that I had over a year of serving experience, was very happy when I came in, and looked confident. Make sure to apply in person for any serving jobs!
