    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Dev Null Studios (Toronto, ON) in January-2015.

    Interview

Was introduced to the company founder through a mutual friend via email. As a recent graduate I needed some experience and no one else was willing to take me due to my lack of experience. Interview was informal and done at the company board room over some coffee (although I was offered a beer!!!)

    Interview Questions

    • Mostly generic questions about my long term goals and where my skills were at.   Answer Question
    • How would I optimize a game in unity and unreal   Answer Question
    • Do you know how to cache systems work and how to optimize game code for it.   1 Answer
    • Some questions about 3D animation   Answer Question

    Negotiation

There really wasn't much negotiation. I was asked if I was sure I didn't want a beer though!!
