Mission: Improve the everyday life of people and businesses by reducing and controlling their spending on energy through our commitment to the following three core values: trust, respect and the constant pursuit of excellence.
I have been working at DNE Resources full-time (Less than a year)
it's a pivotal time in this company, and everyone is aware of it... it's scary and exciting at the same time. It's scary because we've seen so many people leave and sales drop due to government changes, but it's exciting because we have rebuilt from the group up.
I'm scared. I don't know how long I can stay here in hopes of us actually making a comeback. I like this place, but I also like mental sanity and making decent money. This place is testing me on both fronts. I won't bash this place with a nasty review, because to be honest, any other company in the same place would have crumbled and failed by now. Yet here we are, as some of us are in Jamaica right now enjoying the culture we still have. Work hard play hard indeed.
Advice to Management
EVERYONE, without exception, in this company, is currently singing should I stay or should I go now? It's a question of who believes more.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at DNE Resources (Montreal, QC) in July-2016.
Sent in my C.V. and was contacted reasonably quickly. Set an appointment to be interviewed a day later. Met with the hiring manager for the sector I would be working in, asked a couple standard questions regarding previous work experience. Discussed what the job would entail. A few psychological questions to understand your temperament and then discussed how it would affect your job performance. Asked for 2 references and then said they would get back to me. Started to work there less than a week later.
