    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Computer Methods International (Toronto, ON) in February 2018.

    Interview

I had an initial phone call with the recruiter. I declined the follow-up in person interview with the team following my phone call.

The interview with the recruiter was odd. She didn't know anything about the role outside of reading from the job posting and refused to give me the salary or even confirm that it is within my range. I don't think it is a beneficial to any company should have such a person representing the company to potential employees.

I declined the in person interview because of the horrible interview by the recruiter and because a co-worker mentioned that management is incredibly aggressive, the environment is boring, and the pay is lower than most for that role.
