Really great working conditions, coworkers, leaders, benefits, pay, and many new products being provided to our customers

There are some people who resist change and long for the days when th credit union was like sleepy hollow. Times have changed guys, the world is about technology and change is inevitable - get with it

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Coast Capital Savings (Surrey, BC) in December-2017.

The interview is easy. Questions are about the basic financial knowledge. The hiring manager is truly smart and organized.

However, DON'T TRUST THEM ANYTHING EVEN YOU GET A PROVISION OFFER (pending upon successful background check) . The company just rescinded my offer one business day before the day I was supposed to begin my work. I must say I am so disappointed at this company. The hiring manager even told me in Linkedin that he prepared some fun jobs for me in January and looked forward to working with me. He also recommended me not to accept other offers. Nothing can hurt me more than the false job security.

After my offer got rescinded, the HR gave me very blurred reasons, which don't relate with my background check at all, such as not enough work experience, not fit on the culture, not very good interview performance, etc. It seems the company extends the conditional offer to everyone and rescind it back without any significant reasons.

I recommend not to waste your time on this position or this firm. The whole experience so far is totally a nightmare.
