    Average Interview

I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Cmd.

I had an initial phone screen with a HR person and then came in for a 3 hour in person interview on premise. The interview itself was fairly standard for a small sized tech company. Shortly after the interview I got an offer within a few days. The offer wasn't something I was willing to accept so I counter offered, which is when the process didn't go smoothly. Over the course of a month I was emailing back and forth with the recruiter trying to get an offer which would work for me; this seems weird as the recruiter didn't appear to have the bargaining power to haggle which lead to lots of friction in communication and turn around times. It probably would have been better if I had a 15 minute talk with the CEO or whoever has the power to bargain on employment terms instead of of negotiating via email through an intermediary person.
