    I have been working at Clio full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Make a difference in the real-world here. We aren't working on social media sharing or selling kitsch - your ability to impact the legal industry is tangible and visible in what gets executed (look up their Youtube channel for a taste, search for California Innocence Project). The reach is incredible, the scale is global and world-class.

    The company and each of the leaders obviously care about the people here. Decisions are made with employees in mind, which was never more obvious than during COVID. In comparison to where my friends work, Clio's response was so much more thoughtful, fast, and considerate of the employee needs.

    Career opportunity is huge here - so many people have been promoted multiple times and really grown in terms of their professional development, including myself.

    Cons

    You will work hard here and you will have to be agile and adapt to change. Not everyone is looking for that, so go in eyes open.

    Advice to Management

    Keep leading with your head and heart - it is your biggest strength and what creates the fierce loyalty of your customers and your employees.

    Recruiter call, manager call, call with the 'triad' then call with the manager again, then call with leadership.

    The product thought experiments were really good, but the UX and Dev team interviewers did not seem prepared and their questions were mainly focused on conflict which made me wonder how much conflict they have internally.
