Mission: To Boldly (and Forever) Change the Way the World Views Talent
I have been working at Cielo full-time (More than 3 years)
Amazing and inclusive company to work for. Forward thinking company always looking to stay ahead and be the best they can with new and innovated ideas. Supportive leadership at all levels, and a true open door policy. Best leadership (at all levels) I have seen in an organization in a long time. Wonderful career advancement and promotional opportunities available. Training courses and competencies outlined to help you "Own your career", and what can I say about the Diversity and Inclusion certificate program, other than it is such an awesome addition!
Salaries are not matching up to similar roles in the area. Sometimes work demand to support clients, can be a cause of long hours.
Advice to Management
Please continue to review work loads/staffing for client teams and shared services. Also continue to review salary and benefits to stay competitive.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cielo (Halifax, NS) in July-2016.
I was contacted by a Cielo recruiter for a recruiter position with a client in Nova Scotia. The process was very quick and professional (approximately 2 weeks). It consisted of four interviews with a pre-screen, two telephone interviews and finally a face to face with two HR managers. The face to face meeting was good, but I sensed a decision was already made prior to my arrival. In the end, I was literally rushed out of the door after the meeting started 15 minutes late. It is disappointing to be led on a little with discussions of salary, start dates and general satisfaction with my background. I received a generic email several days later from Cielo explaining I was not qualified. No offer after four interviews seems like the hiring process might need some review. However, I would say those who actually interviewed me were very pleasant and professional.
Cielo has designed a diversity and inclusion certification program for our global employees. This program ensures that Cielo recruiters, talent acquisition coordinators and interview specialists have the critical skills and knowledge to support and advance clients’ D&I strategies.
As a leader in the RPO industry, Cielo possesses a unique opportunity to advance D&I hiring practices both internally and through the work it does with clients all over the world. The certification program follows Cielo earlier this year announcing that it had become the first RPO provider to commit to the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™, which shares information, generates ideas and develops programs to foster D&I across 70 industries and millions of employees globally.
