Engineering and Technical Careers

Canadian Natural owns and operates a wide range of assets in Western Canada, including conventional and unconventional natural gas, along with projects in crude oil, including primary, secondary and tertiary light, medium and heavy production, in situ oil sands and oil sands mining. This broad spectrum of projects and asset types means that we need a similarly diverse base of technical and engineering expertise to conceive, develop and maintain these operations. Our goal has always been to complete quality projects with safety and engineering efficiency.

We have engineering opportunities available for all experience levels ranging from new grads (EITs) to professional engineers registered with APEGA, as well as positions in Construction Management, Geology and Geophysics, Project Management and Project Controls, Quality Assurance and a variety of other Technical fields.

Field Operations and Maintenance Careers

Our Operations and Maintenance teams are an integral component of our success at Canadian Natural, working ‘hands-on’ at our world class facilities to optimize production whilst ensuring our core values of safety and integrity are maintained.
