Like all companies I have worked at, there are some managers who are set in their ways and are having challenges adapting to change and the requirements of the modern workplace. However, this seems to only be a few and most managers and employees I have encountered are down to earth, caring and are open to new ideas.
Advice to Management

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CI Financial (Toronto, ON) in February-2018.
I applied online after attending a career fair. The process was very professional and efficient(took about 3 weeks). I interviewed at CI Investments in downtown Toronto.
The HR coordinators were some of the most professional and they are super fast at responding any questions or concerns you have.
First a phone screening with an HR coordinator for about 20 minutes.
Then follow with an in-person interview with both the HR coordinator and one of the manager.
Last, a skill testing session regarding basic math/mutual fund knowledge.
Upon passing all three stages, a conditional offer was delivered; conditions being credit/background check, education verification, and references check.
The entire process was very organized and professional. The HR department was more than helpful and handled all the questions I have efficiently.
