Good benefits with options.Pension plan matched. Newer equipment. Branch cleanliness and good core people at the branch I work at.

The pace can sometimes be stressful. Direction issues that seem to be improving.

  1. Business Development Manager Interview

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Blueline Rental (Charlotte, NC) in May 2017

The BlueLine Recruitment Team called me out of the blue and we had a 40-minute phone conversation. My information/answers was passed along to the District Manager and I was scheduled to meet with him within 4-5 business days. One hour before my scheduled interview, he called me to let me know he was "called out of town" and couldn't meet with me, however, the Branch Manager would be available to "interview" me....and also not to worry--everything was ok, because they have worked together for the past 30 years (with United Rentals) and knew each other pretty well, so he was going to go on his Branch Managers' feedback on whether or not I would move forward in the process. I sent the BR and the DM two different emails each--the "thank you" email and then a week later, the "please give me an update" email. I did contact the Manager of the Recruitment Team and she had no idea what was going on. The DM finally sent me a response a week later telling me that the position hasn't been filled and they aren't even going to be hiring anyone at this point in time. A day later, I found the Position posted online, again, looking for candidates. At least I know this company is not a good fit for me.

Describe a time when you had to make a decision on something that your Sales Manager advised you to do differently, but you decided to follow your gut.
