Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

Where would you move (within the US) if you could move anywhere? And why there? Currently in NY, lease is up soon, working remotely forever. Never lived anywhere else in the US. I love nature, animals..snorkeling, horseback riding, working out gives me life.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BNOTIONS (Canada)
InterviewAfter an initial telephone screening, I was invited to visit their office for a panel interview. The interviewers were friendly and discussed my portfolio and the role. At the end of the conversation, I was given a tour of the office and a take home design test. After reviewing my submission, I received a call from the recruiter to visit the office and was offered a contract. The whole process took less than a month.
