I applied online. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Ayogo Health (Vancouver, BC) in July-2015.
In one word ... amazing!
Everyone I met was exceptionally gracious. Each step of the process was thorough and intentional. Before I applied, I researched Ayogo, reviewing their informative site (and terrific blog), reviewing their active and informative social media presence, checking out mentions on-line, loved their entertaining YouTube channel, and researching the domain, as a whole. I was hooked.
I submitted my resume and cover letter to the posted e-mail address and was contacted for an initial phone discussion. It was an enjoyable discussion where we touched on a range of topics. We proceeded to the next phase, an in-person interview where I had an opportunity to meet with some of the team to assess skills/experience. After the 1:1, I was contacted to meet more of the team for a more informal discussion and Q&A. Again, an enjoyable discussion all around. Next step was providing a written response to a few very thoughtful questions about my career aspirations. Lastly was a reference check (each of the references I provided were contacted). I appreciated the extended duration as it gave both me and Ayogo an opportunity to reflect on each step.
I valued how Ayogo emphasized that they were not only focusing on skills/experience, but also personality/fit, as well as career fit. I highly recommend Ayogo - the interview process, while challenging, was thoroughly enjoyable, end to end. I am excited to start working with this dynamic team!
