    Pros

    - Freie Arbeitseinteilung.
    - Gleitzeit
    - freundschaftliche Klima

    Cons

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at real.digital (Cologne (Germany)) in May 2017.

    Interview

The hiring process involved three stages: (1) submission of an on-line application, (2) a phone interview, (3) a personal interview in Cologne. Altogether the process was quick and well organised. The involved people were friendly and showed a serious interest in personality, skills , and motivation creating an atmosphere of exchange. I was shown around the offices including the potential office space devoted to the team.
Communication was clear and timely with one exception. Candidates were asked to submit their preferred salary. The offer that I received was much lower and beyond the acceptable range and it was said that it is not negotiable. Why exactly would someone ask you for a salary proposition or invite you to an interview in such a case? Knowing this beforehand or rejecting my application based on the salary requirements would have saved me time and travelling expenses.
