I have been working at Strive Living Society full-time
The organization has good values. There is no doubt that they are making a difference in the community and the clients best interests are at heart.
If you have something to offer the agency as an employee I believe that Human Resources sees the value in you.
-Operational Management could use some work, it is very old school and needs to be progressive in order to aquire new funding possibilities.
-Not all positions are posted internally, some people are just moved into new positions or Mat Leaves so you have no opportunity to vye for them.
-There are some people in positions who are very unqualified but talk a good game and made nice with the powers that be so they ended up getting compensated nicely and putting departments in precarious situations.
-There isn't much room for financial advancement, promises are often made and broken.
Advice to Management
-If departments have excellent employees leaving on a routine basis take a look at the core issues, it may be time to let some of the upper management go.
- Compensate fairly
- Post ALL positions and maternity leaves
