I have been working at Heartland Dental full-time (More than a year)
Heartland has a company culture that promotes doing the right thing for the right reason. The people that work for this company are positive, highly motivated, and set goals to constantly improve and grow. Heartland cares about its people and the communities they serve. Being a part of this company and having to access to such a great network of leaders and mentors has not only sharpened me mentally and grown me professionally, but it has truly enhanced me as a person. I have grown in confidence, leadership, and self-worth and have developed a better understanding of people and environments that has made me an overall happier person in the short time I have already been with the company. I'm excited for what the future brings!
Heartland is growing, and it's growing FAST. This says volumes -- patients want to be taken care of by amazing doctors and teams, and Heartland supports those teams to deliver the highest quality patient care while maintaining a healthy business; however, rapid growth means rapid change as we adapt and improve. I was told up front in the interview process that "the only thing consistent with Heartland is change" which proves to be true -- and change is not easy. It requires people who are positive, open, and mentally flexible and willing to take feedback and self reflect. It is not easy, but it is worth it.
Advice to Management
As we grow and move into the future, do not forget where we came from. As we know, our team members in the practices every day are the ONLY reason we are where we are as a great company moving towards our Vision. Continue to scale appropriately to provide them with world-class support!
