Glassdoor London, England (UK) isn't hiring right now. Check out all Glassdoor jobs
I have been working at Glassdoor full-time (More than a year)
Huge market opportunity, strong & passionate teammates & transparent leadership. Honestly, I'm not sure I've worked for a better company anywhere else. I am genuinely excited to come to work and see my colleagues, and work together to build on the opportunities here in EMEA.
The overall team is very supportive and there is very little pettiness which is pretty rare in a Sales environment.
Don't hold back addressing negativity across teams. As we grow quickly, we need to remember to stay positive and focused on the longer term goals.
Advice to Management
As we continue our hyper growth across EMEA, it's important to remember where we came from as a company. I understand our culture will evolve, but remember to continue the transparency and company mission that made our brand what it is today.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (London, England (UK)) in November 2014.
The hiring process was done over 4 stages, which took a little under a month.
1) Phone call with the recruitment team, who were extremely swift and accommodating.
2) Phone call with the head of the team the position was for
3) Skype meeting with the SVP of the department
4) Meet the whole London based team for 30 minute sessions with each.
The interviews were oriented towards past experiences and future aspirations, they look to find overachievers who are not afraid to get their hands dirty and go the extra mile, being a rather small team in London, one's work may extend beyond the terms of your contract.
Someone from the hiring team contacted me the same day as I put forth my candidacy and was very impressed by the mix between friendly conversation and professionalism throughout the entire process.
I highly encourage people matching these criteria to apply.
Glassdoor are very accommodating, there is room to discuss your initial offer. They are flexible if you are as well.
