I worked at Electronic Arts as a contractor (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Unique perks, great benefits, awesome co-workers and really cool projects to work on. Awesome chance to work with amazingly talented people.

    Cons

Lots of political games and hoops to jump through to get anything done. Upper management will side with stockholders every time no matter how much it hurts a studio's culture.

    Advice to Management

You have great dev teams lead by poorly advised managers.
