I have been working at Amazon full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is my week 4 and so far this has been the best on-boarding experience I had in my 22 years in the IT industry. There is a well structured plan when you first come onboard with a list of activities and tasks you need to get done on your first weeks up to your 3rd month.

    Cons

I have not encountered any so far, again it's my 4th week at work.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Wellington, Wellington (New Zealand)) in June 2017.

    Interview

The interview questions are really very tricky. All technical questions are very basic, and they will only ask what you are familiar with. But the behavioural questions drove me crazy. They intend to know everything about your past according to their leadership principles. But the thing is that's not possible you had met every situation what they need to know. And I don't think this kind of test will really help to filter their potential candidates.
