Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Abbotsford, BC. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, processing orders, providing technical guidance, and building strong relationships with our client base.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has an interest in parts, equipment, or industrial sales. Success in this role requires someone who is confident working within a small team environment while also being highly self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will be dependable, adaptable, and able to take initiative while managing multiple priorities throughout the day.

You will primarily be responsible for supporting and growing a delegated customer territory; however, counter service and retail sales also form an important part of the role. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing relationship management, phone-based sales support, walk-in customer service, and day-to-day operational responsibilities as part of a collaborative branch team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming calls, emails, and counter inquiries from customers regarding filter products, pricing, and availability
• Identify customer needs and provide tailored filtration solutions, including cross-referencing filter part numbers
• Process quotes and orders accurately and in a timely manner using our ERP system
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and reliable service
• Collaborate with the warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Follow up on backorders and ensure customers are kept informed of delivery timelines
• Support outside sales reps by preparing quotes and sharing customer insights
• Stay up to date on new products, promotions, and technical specs

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in inside sales, customer service, or parts/industrial distribution and sales - at least 2 years
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with part numbers and performing product cross-referencing - you be detail oriented.
• Technically minded with an interest in engines, equipment, or industrial systems
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/SAGE or order entry systems is a MUST
• Mechanical or automotive background a bonus, but not required
• Familiarity with farming and agriculture markets in the Fraser Valley would be advantageous
• Conversational Punjabi would be an asset

Salary range includes a commission based element based on skills and experience.
