Senior Business Analyst – Financial Systems

Fernlea Flowers Ltd. is large North American grower and supplier of high-quality garden and potted plants with a head office located in Delhi, Ontario and farms in Florida.

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Business Analyst to support financial analysis, operational reporting, and business system optimization within our growing organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large amounts of data, improving processes, and helping make informed operational and financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of operational and financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and business opportunities
• Develop financial and operational reporting tools, dashboards, and data models
• Work closely with accounting, operations, purchasing, and leadership teams to improve reporting accuracy and business intelligence
• Assist with system enhancements, workflow automation, and process improvements
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality and reporting
• Write and maintain queries, reports, and integrations as needed
• Assist with forecasting, inventory analysis, margin analysis, and sales analytics
• Help improve data integrity and reporting efficiencies across the organization

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong requirement
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other reporting/database tools is an asset
• Experience programming, configuring, or developing within Business Central considered a significant asset
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with large datasets and complex spreadsheets
• Python programming or automation capability considered a strong advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in wholesale, agriculture, manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-intensive environments is an asset
• Understanding of inventory flow, costing, logistics, or high-volume retail supply chains preferred
• Experience supporting operational and financial reporting in a business environment

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
