3) Broke the curve down to the elastic and plastic region. Located where the yield strength and ultimate strength occurs on the curve. Modulus of elasticity can be extracted by the slope. 4). I explained how I did some basic modeling with FEMAP w/NASTRAN for a class assignment. I explained some general bird's eye view of best practices when running a finite element model. Explained the importance of mesh quality, type of elements to use, and to always validate your model with simple hand calcs. Less

This was difficult for me because as a mechanical engineer I have done both the design and analysis for all of the projects I've worked on in the the past. Transitioning to a large company you become very focused on one specific thing, so choose wisely. Less
