I prepared by reading the culture manual end to end, researched the company and spent 3 days working on the design challenge.
The hiring manager performing the interview only expressed concerns about my past work experience in management and questioned why I would take a step backwards in terms of career to 'only do the design work'. They also requested a follow-up interview to go over my portfolio but did not follow through.
