Part time data entry Interview Questions
12Part Time Data Entry interview questions shared by candidates
The questions I received were typical, pre interview type questions, as listed above. I am still in the beginning stages, so am interested in determining if this is a bonifide position, or if it is a position as is described in other posts on this site...where you must pay to play.2 Answers
Do not fall for this obvious scam. I work in the field of HR and have for several years. I specialize in several areas of HR including recruiting. No citizen of the USA should ever pay to gain employment by purchasing the employers product to become eligible for employment. Less
You most likely found out that it's an obvious load of b.s. I just went through the conference call. The first half seemed pretty decent. I wasn't really trying to make a career of it. I just wanted something HR related to put on my resume'. Anyway, it did seem ok as a commission opportunity until the second half of the conference was dedicated to "not" try to sell us Legal Shield. It was apparent that whomever didn't opt in to purchase the product wouldn't get the position. "Legal Shield is NOT a requirement" was stressed a couple of time. Then, he tried to give the "if you don't own the product, then how will you understand your job?" and "If you don't understand, then you may not be a great fit for this role... you may have a tough time recruiting, anyway." He was basically saying that those who didn't purchase Legal Shield would not get the job. "We're not a part of Legal Shield. We're just a broker." Great job violating the whole Truth in Advertising thing, Harvard Risk Management. I feel bad for those naive people that bought into this mess. Less
Can you work overtime? The position requires you to be available for long hours until project completion. The positions have a required schedule of 8-3 and 9-6 (something like that)1 Answers
Yes, I can do any of those times.
He asked me to briefly describe my relevant work experience, especially in customer service. Then some simple questions: "what time can you be here: what is your daycare situation; are you available to stay late unexpectedly". There are no skills tests. It's mostly an assessment of what type of person you are. You need to come across as one who is emotionally strong. Very casual. No need to wear a business suit -- go business casual.1 Answers
I answered them honestly and openly. This job is all about teamwork, so you need to emphasize that you work well with others. More importantly, you need to be a good fit for the environment. You need to have a thick skin because this is not your typical office environment. You need to be able to interact well with truck drivers, co-workers, managers and customers while multi-tasking in an extremely fast-paced environment. You'll overhear lots of arguing and "colorful" language over the course of the work day and you need to be able to zone it out. Don't bother applying if you are the "politically correct" type of person. Less
How much do you want to get paid?1 Answers
They didn't advertised the wage range so I asked them what they were hoping to pay. The lady turn the question back at me and I said $12/hr. Said it was within their range. I had also asked to be considered for a Closing Position the interviewer seem to want me to apply for. Less
No difficult questions, but be prepared to decide if you're willing to purchase something you may not want or need in order to obtain the position.1 Answers
Really, I’m not going to spend money to make money. Thank you so much.
