I am not working a news company currently, a sports one. Social Media is where I see news and MSNBC is always on at home. I pull them to side later and chat with them to see what is bothering them. No, but once I get to know you better, I'll probably be intimidated. (Said sort of tongue in cheek.) I went on to explain that I've worked for lots of smart, busy people, and I try to be respectful of their time, come in prepared, work hard, etc. I assured them that I will always ask questions if I don't understand something, though. A story, can transcend time, space, and circumstance. It can entertain, educate, heal, and create an escape from reality. There is nothing better than allowing someone to go on a grand adventure with you no matter how small. I love to be moved and to help others know that feeling. Stories are what shape society.
