No appreciation. Had to move. Didn't want me to do extra work to help the company grow... (The HR director from Edmonton Simon interviewed me. She was sweet at the beginning of the interview and rapidly turned into a witch... I felt like I was there to fight with her...) I answer to this question like this: I spent my own hours to do research for other department because I believe everyone has different perspectives and these can create better results or plannings. However, my district manager didn't appreciate my hard work and that's one of the reasons why I quit. AND She immediately asked me, "Did you do all your work first? Why did you do work that's not being asked? Did you aced your own work?' I couldn't believe that she just asked me those question. I do my best on everything I am responsible so I made sure all of my results are beautiful. And then I saw an opportunities on other field and just wanted to give my inputs for other department. I did it because I had an OWNERSHIP for the company... and the SIMON HR DIRECTOR said, WHY DO U DO EXTRA WORK THAT NO ONE ASKED YOU TO??? I no longer wanted to work for this company. Also, throughout the interview,,, She gave me a feeling that she was afraid of hiring me because she may be kick her out one day in the future because of me....weird....Why would I harm others? That's exactly how I felt due to her attitude and questions. According to what she told, asked and react to my answers, I felt sorry for the company to have her because it was clear to me that she wan't helping the company to find the right people to hire and elevate the company as one.... instead, Shame on you HR Director @ Edmonton Simon... I really hope the CEO of the SIMON sees the problem.
