During my master's degree program, I went into my final capstone with a 4.0GPA and one class remaining. I knew that achieving my goal of a 4.0 graduating GPA was not in my hands, but those of my assigned group as well; I didn't want to risk failing my goal so close to the finish line, so I volunteered to take lead on the capstone. I managed everyone's contributions as if they too were aiming for the same goal I was - as a result we delivered an outstanding project that earned us all a perfect score for the capstone. We all finished our master's degree program with top marks and a sense of confidence that we may not have had without my leadership. Less
