applied via gumtree, sending a CV and brief cover letter. quickly got an email inviting me for interview the next morning. interview was more of a conversation, offered a 2 week contract - as they really needed people to cover the half-term rush. after the 2 week period, told that a more permanent job in one of their branches can be arranged.

Quick chat on the phone; checked if I was alive/can communicate/a real human and got a f2f interview for that weekend. Went in for the interview and subsequently that turned into my first shift. Really smooth process esp for someone with fairly limited work experience.
