I applied online and about 3 weeks later received a call from a nearby mall. I went in for my first interview and it was about an hour long. The manager gave me a whole bunch of situation questions with trick answers that were a little difficult. However, she liked my answers and scheduled me for the second interview which was actually applying makeup on a model you bring. They aren't totally looking for application techniques but more how you can sell to a customer and interact with them while applying the makeup. It was really hard to pretend with my best friend and felt silly but I have experience doing makeup so I only bombed the whole selling aspect. After I was finished she asked my model what she thought of her makeup, and then told me she would call me this week to discuss what I did and whether or not I will be offered a position. If I am offered the position I will 100% accept it.
