The interview started by 1 HR round and then it was 1 round with another software Engineer. The HR did not give me any direction on what to prepare and mentioned there will be a coding round. I also got a coderpad link in the meeting invite.
When the technical round started, the interviewer started asking 10th grade probability questions, that went well. But he never opened coderpad and did not ask any coding problem.
Looks like the HR and the interviewer did not co ordinate, this was highly unprofessional. I spent most of my time in preparing coding as suggested by HR, but it was not even asked.
When I gave time slots to HR, I gave him time slots of my availability, the HR sent me a meeting invite of 4 days earlier than my given time slots and asked if I can do it or not, then why ask in the first place?
