Question 1
Why did you choose to apply at our organization?
Why are you passionate about this job?
How will your contribution to this job make a measurable difference?
I applied online. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at World Wildlife Fund (Washington, DC) in Oct 2021
Interview
Interview process was extremely long and drawn out. Applied in July, heard from the HR rep in October. Interviewed with the hiring manager in November and interviewed with a panel in December. All of the interviews were comfortable and felt like great conversation and not like a typical interview. I was given feedback from the hiring manager/panel about next steps and when I would hear back. My account in their portal still states "pending review". With modern HR/recruiting tools there is no reason to no provide candidates with at least an automated email that they filled the position. Follow-up afterwards with HR/multiple points of contact fell on deaf ears. Extremely disappointing experience.

Question 1
Can you tell us a time that you had to overcome adversity?
The long-form interview process was straightforward and easy to navigate. The first interview was held with an HR manager and the second interview was held with several of the program managers. It took much longer than stated to receive an update after the second interview, but overall, the process was respectful and manageable.
