Straight forward questions about yourself, why you want the job, previous experience, why you would be a good fit, etc. Very conversational, no tough/hard-hitting questions, and heard back in a very quick time period
- What do you think you're a good fit for this position

I interviewed at WSIB (Toronto, ON)
It was quite long process. I didnt hear back from them until months later with an offer. However, during the actual interview, fairly normal questions (scenario based) and you are given the option to add to your answer before moving on.

HR send email to arrange interview time, then one hour interview with a panel (hiring manager, another manager and HR) on MS Teams. Start with some introduction and follow by 8 STAR questions.
- What kind of boss do you want to work with?

Pretty lengthy. Initial screening, in-depth test online where you had to complete a multiple choice questionnaire. Then the last step was a panel interview with three to four people, all asking different questions.
- Typical interview questions, mostly behavioural in nature.

It was pretty easy, not that hard. They basically asked behavioral questions and about your past experiences and skills. Just prepare basic questions, know about the company and the job profile, and you'll be good to go.
- What would you do during a conflict?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I interviewed at WSIB
Friendly and welcoming interview process. The questions are behavioural type questions. Takes about 30 minutes to complete the interview. It was a virtual interview which is convenient but challenging if running into technical issues.
- How do you manage a difficult client

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Toronto, ON
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at WSIB (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2023
The interview was straight to business. After answering the four interview questions, they explained the next step and I had to inquire if I could ask questions prior to moving on. The manager emphasized the job as fast pace, time sensitive and demanding with 10 people waiting for your response with no time for you to get lunch and this type of role is not for everybody. There are a lot of protocols to learn and documents to review. New staff are expected to attend every day of orientation (about 3 months long) and will have a preceptor and meetings with manager to review your ability to keep up. Probation is 9 months and they informed me many new staff struggle to meet quota when they have an increase of cases. No mention on how managers are understanding or can support staff and provide resources through this challenge. No mention of any other available educational support team other than your mentor. Sink or swim. After their four questions asked, you have 15mins to complete an assignment, don’t stress it’s straightforward From my experience it was clear to me that there are issues with workplace culture, power dynamics, unrealistic expectations with a lack of effort from management to create and promote a healthy workplace staff and re-evaluate the training. I didn’t apply to to the role expecting it is a walk in the park nor do I want it to be, but what turned me away most was the negativity of the manager, its an unprofessional representation of the organization. Disappointed to learn that an organization that prides themselves in recovery and injury prevention treat their staff so poorly and causing stress in the workplace.
- Four time management questions. 1. How do you manage time 2. Provide situation where you used those strategies to effectively manage time 3. Provide an example where time management helped you resolve an issue

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at WSIB (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2022
Applied online then got contacted a month later to do a 2.5 hour online assessment- heard back after a week that I was being invited for a zoom interview. Virtual interview was 1.5 hours, 4 long questions and a role play of a meeting with a employer and employee. Interviewees know nothing about you and have never seen your resume before. Got emailed 1 month later being told I was not moving forward.
- Tell about a time you worked with people with opposite opinions, how did you make them both feel heard and come to a agreed decision.
