The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The worst interview I've ever had. Got a screen call from HR which was standard. However, once I met the interviewing manager, that's when things went downhill. The interviewing manager was 10 minutes late and when he finally joined the call he did not even apologize nor address his lateness. Then he introduced himself but did not give me any chance to introduce myself nor ask him questions. After that, he went straight to a leet code question that has nothing to do with their everyday work. Throughout the interview he was very disinterested and when I finished my work and told him I finished my work it was clear he was not paying attention as he did not respond for nearly 5 minutes and instead I could see through the reflection his glasses that he was on messenger. After the interview I quickly emailed the recruiter that I am not interested in continuing. This interview was one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful process I've encountered.

Question 1
Create a function that returns true if the input is a power of 2, otherwise return false
Applied through university job board. HR round was brief - asked about career aspirations and which team I'd want to join. Never heard back from them after the first round.

Question 1
Why did I choose my major, what team would I like to join, etc.
I applied online. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Applied for a Canadian role. Was interviewed by a US-based recruiter who does not understand Canadian employment law. I hold an open work permit (which requires zero employer sponsorship or cost), but the recruiter explicitly rejected me on the call, stating they 'only hire Citizens or PRs to avoid sponsorship.'
I applied online. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
Applied online, then offered online interview.
The interviewer seemed completely disengaged through the whole process, and never even hinted at a smile once. It was a real shame and a waste of an hour - I should've stopped 15 minutes in to be honest.
Kept asking questions and re-asking the same ones 5 minutes later. Going off and back on camera. His attitude wasn't selling it, and him telling me the company was "overly American and intense" wasn't helping either.
