clean office, pictures of celebrities and national brands grace the walls, communicated via email to arrange interview. Resume wasn't read during interview, rather casual CONVERSATION about work experience was discussed.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at VIIVIIVII (Valencia, CA) in Sep 2014
Interview
I found their ad on Craigslist stating that they were looking for potential business development positions to be filled. When I arrived I was greeted very politely and saw that there were already a few people waiting to be interviewed. After filling out an application packet we were all guided into a conference room and interviewed by three people all at once. BE WARNED this is a group interview, if that is your thing you are going to do great, if not...well... The idea is to see how comfortable you are speaking and expressing your opinions in/ with a group. (It is pretty clear by the interview structure, and demeanor of the CEO and President that they are really pushing for a modern organizational culture). There were some interesting light hearted questions to see who you are on a personal level, but there were a few "tell us about your previous employer, why you left, and what skills you will bring here" questions. Overall I really liked the office, I am a fan of the group/panel interview process, and the staff and management seems (for now at least) to be professional and personable.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at VIIVIIVII (Encino, CA) in Dec 2013
Interview
I spoke with the vice president first about how I can help the company, where I see myself going and what the business is like. Then I spoke with the CEO to hear how he thought I'd be able to help the company, and where the company came from and where it's going.
