I received a phone call within 2 weeks of submitting my online application. I scheduled the in-person interview for the following week, and heard back 10 days later. The interviewer was mostly interested in a customer service background.

Terrible. Wanted me to do a video interview and the recruiter was super unprofessional. She told me that my salary requirements were unreasonable. This experience was super impersonal. I'd rather be called and phone screened.

Exactly a month ago I submitted my application online. About 1 week later, I received an email requesting that I complete a personality- type exam. It was about 2-3 days after that, that I was requested to submit the video montage. Since then, I've heard NOTHING. I would think if the answer is no, they would at least contact you to let you know. For a company with such an outstanding reputation, I am very disappointed in their interview process.
- I was asked a series of 5 questions to determine how I would handle specific situations with patients/co-workers.

Extensive so the more prepared you are with references and resume the better off you will be. Smiling and being sociable is key. Ask question the interview as well, it shows how dedication.

I knew someone who was already working at Penn Medicine, they helped pass my resume along. If you do not know someone, good luck. It's a large hospital, and hearing back or getting an interview is a long process. Once I was hired, I was offered the job and started within 3 weeks.
- how do you deal with difficult people

First there was a screen interview where you would record your answers to questions they display on a screen, when you are considered then a face to face interview was set up.
- Tell me about a time you had a difficult patient?

Overall my hiring and interview process was amazing. My interviewer ended up being my manager and she was by far the best manager I ever had. Sometimes I actually wish I still worked for her. She was so welcoming during the interview process and was very informative on what the job was going to be like once I was hired.
- She asked me what I would change about myself when it came to working.
