go and visit a recruiting station. prepare your self for the ASVAB test. study and relax. just do what your told. it will be the easiest job you ever have as long as being gone is not an issue. the hardest part of my job is showing up on time and shaving my face

Pass a test, get a rate, swear in, go to boot camp, then to a rating school where you gain essential skills to start your job. after that most are off to the fleet to start their career.
