I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
I was referred by a friend who sent the hiring manager my resume. I was then called and asked to come in for an interview about 2-3 weeks later. I met with two employees/colleagues of the boss who was looking for an intern for about 15 minutes, and then the Sr. VP came in and all three interviewed me together.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no particularly difficult questions, mostly behavioral and about prior internships.
1. What are your biggest weaknesses?
2. Describe a time where you had to work in a team?
3. What were your experiences like at prior internships?
4. What has been your favorite and least favorite classes?
One assessment test about logic and behavior, then a pre recorded interview where you would see a question, then have one minute to think how to answer, then 2 minutes to discuss your answer
Die Interviewer waren sehr menschlich und haben sich um meine Persönlichkeit gekümmert. Es ging vor allem um die Umgangsformen und zwischenmenschliche Art der Person. Jedoch auch technische Skills wurden befragt.

Question 1
Was war das schwierigste, was Du jemals gemacht hast?
Standard Hirevue interview, from what I recall you get two minutes to prepare and two minutes to speak. After each question your response is automatically recorded and you cannot retry.
