I applied online. I interviewed at The Trade Desk in Jan 2025
Interview
OA, followed by a tech screen implementing linear interpolation in Python in 30 min. Next rounds would have been in person after passing this round, including coding and case studies
Ask projects and previous work experiences in cv. Some easy ml question about linear regression and classification and so on. The interview experience is just normal and not many feedback from hr

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at The Trade Desk (Paris) in Feb 2022
Interview
First, you get approached by a recruiter. Then, setup a meeting with the hiring manager for some informal chat. The hiring manager said there will be only one screening round and then 2 rounds. I took the screening and passed it. The recruiter got in touch and to my surprise said that the next stage will be 4 rounds . Screening was about general AI/ML questions and some data structure coding.
The following rounds were about discussing solutions to potential problems from the perspective of engineering, data science and product management. These rounds were more or less descent with open-ended questions. The last round was with the hiring manager who was asking questions in a condescending way. Like ‘I know better’, or ‘you probably won’t be able to answer this one’ (even before I started answering). Possibly due to a lack of maturity.
After the last round, they simply ghosted me! Unfortunately, this has probably put an end to any possible collaboration in future
